We, the Keypers Foundry administration and moderation team, will only ever use your personal information for the purposes of basic website functions and improving the website. INFORMATION COLLECTED
In order for the website to function as intended, we collect the following information when you register an account:
- Your Keypers Foundry username and password
- Your email address used to verify your account
- Your deviantART account username
This data is collected for the sole purpose of website functionality, and is required in order to participate in any community activities or events.
In order to participate in community prompts, character sales and trades, and earn on-site currency, we also collect and store the following information in the website’s database. This information includes but is not limited to:
- Prompt/gallery submissions and currency rewards
- Changes in design ownership status
- Design history (visual changes to a design)
- Website currency and items being obtained or used
- Timestamps for transactional events (the items in this list)
Again, this data is collected for the sole purpose of website functionality.
INFORMATION used
Keypers Foundry may use reasonable services, or hire third party companies to implement these services on our behalf. These services include, but are not limited to, handling customer support inquiries, processing transactions and payments, or important communications regarding your Keypers Foundry account (such as the email service used to send your verification email). Any third party companies hired for these purposes will only receive personal information necessary for their service.
payment processing
The Keypers Foundry website uses Ko-Fi and Paypal to handle real currency payments. Any personally-identifying information passed on to us from these websites (legal names, addresses, emails, etc) will never be sold or shared to anyone.
off-site communication
Outside of comments on profiles, there is currently no way to communicate privately on the Keypers Foundry website. Should you decide to participate in community design sales, you consent to Keypers Foundry staff contacting you on other platforms (deviantART, discord, toyhouse, etc) to conduct payment collection. Outside of this, your contact information will never be used to send you advertisements or marketing communications, with some exceptions for opt-in notifications in our Toyhouse thread or Discord server.
COOKIES
Website cookies are files with small amounts of data that may include a unique, anonymous identifier, sent from a website to your browser and stored in your device’s local storage. Keypers Foundry uses cookies to store your website settings and preferences (such as continuing to stay logged in without manually entering your password each time you visit the website) to improve your website experience.
